I'm a writer and editor based out of a town near Seattle. My new book, "Rocking Fatherhood: The Dad-to-Be's Guide to Staying Cool" (Da Capo Press/Lifelong Books) is a prescriptive memoir about pregnancy and fatherhood. I'm not saying it's the best book in the genre, but it's the only one endorsed by a member of Guns N' Roses. Speaking of which, I collaborated with GNR co-founder Duff McKagan on his memoir, "How to Be a Man" (Da Capo, 2015). I am also a regular contributor to the Wall Street Journal and have written for Money, Maxim, Entrepreneur, the Village Voice, and many other publications. In a previous life, I was music editor at Seattle Weekly.
